  1. Hi Nukem
Thank you for the reply its good information to a rookie like myself in that my accord is a company car for my IT service and support business and im on the freeway a l o t. Have a good one thank you for the awesome and informative videos. Hope your buziness is doing well sir.

  2. i actually did use honda coolant. they manufactured it green for a long time and then a bunch of years ago switched it to the current dark blue.

  3. Hi thank you for the informative video. I see you did not use Honda coolant after the belts replacement. Dont the Honda replacement parts require manufactures coolant? I ask because I made the mistake of adding Prestone coolant to my 2001 accord 4 cylinder recovery tank now I get that nasty Prestone Oder when I start my car on a hot day Yuk. Thank you for your reply comments..

  4. great video thankyou, do you have or do you know where I can get a video of how to change timing belt on 98honda accord with the vtech 6 cyl 3.0 engine? desperately need one

  5. I’ve done a 1992 Nissan 300ZX timing belt and while there are some similarities just like any car with a timing belt, it’s quite a bit different too. Instead of the one cam pulley like this Honda, the Nissan has four. Unlike this Honda a good 1/2″ drive impact wrench can remove the Nissan crank bolt. The Honda damper comes off by hand but you’ll need a puller for the Nissan. There’s no balancer belt for the Nissan. There are a lot of other differences so I would make sure you have a manual.

  6. hi, i couldn’t find the comment button but I have a concern. I was under the impression that this was an interference engine and rotating the crank counterclockwise would cause damage. I was told to only go clockwise. Any thoughts on this?

  7. i wouldnt recommend doing that. youre only supposed to do that to hold the timing belt in place while you tension the balancer belt.

  8. Hey I have a questiion. When you put the bolt on the timing belt tensioner to “lock” the tension on the timing in place, can you just find a bolt that fits tthe threads and just leave that bolt in there? I did that with my accord and its driving fine.

  9. Is it safe to rotate the crank (engine) with only the timing belt installed like you did in the video? Will this cause the balance shaft to be out of balance?

  10. Great video really helpful took me 4 hours tho because had to stop an get the parts after was taking apart an do it on the ground with no power tools .

  11. question why that long i did this in about 1hour and 30 min my first time? what part took you along time to take off did a bolt get stuck or break off. ? i really cant see taking 8 hours to do this unless you break a bolt or someting

  12. I just put the crank pulley on and its sticking out like little bit its not flat with the crank shaft, is this normal this is before screw the crank pulley bolt. can any one answer this quick i gotta finish this car

  13. i would highly doubt its similar, fairlady is a v6 right? that already makes it pretty different with the timing markets and how the belt is setup
